About Us

Auerhammer Professional Services is Bigfork’s oldest counseling and consulting business. We have lived and worked in the Bigfork area, in the greater Flathead Valley of NW Montana, since 1974, and opened our business in 2000.

Tom Auerhammer, LCPC

I learned the sawmill business working at the Mud Creek Mill and eventually bought my own Mobile Dimension Sawmill. I sawed logs all over the northwest part of our state for years, and made boards and beams that went into many houses in the valley and beyond, including ours. When it came time for something new, I went back to college to study Counseling Psychology, eventually earning the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees required to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

To relax I like to camp, fish, kayak, build things, and read.

Diana Auerhammer, LCPC

I taught school for 20 years and eventually returned to college to get the Master’s Degree required to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. My teaching background allows me to help parents understand their children from the perspective of education, as well as the psychological aspects of growth and development. I also have an undergraduate degree in fine arts and spend time in my own art studio (that Tom built), whenever possible. Since doing art benefits everyone, I often include it in sessions.

In my free time I like to garden, both flowers and food, do art, camp, hike, read, and just relax.

Our Services

We offer confidential, HIPAA compliant Telehealth counseling, also known as tele-therapy, for all ages, and work with a wide range of topics and issues.
