The Auerhammers

We, Tom and Diana Auerhammer, share a private counseling practice in Bigfork, Montana.

Since its beginning in 2000 we have grown our business to include therapy for individuals of all ages, families and couples, business and organizational consultating, and psychological assessments and evaluations, seminar development and presentation, adjunct professorships at the University of Great Falls, and charitable projects.  We like to think that our styles and interests compliment each other and create a setting that is unique and appealing.

Tom: I earned both a BS and Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Great Falls in Montana and am licensed by the state of Montana as a Clinical Professional Counselor. In addition to therapy I perform psychoeducational evaluations for several school districts in western Montana and privately for young clients and college referrals.

Diana: I have a 16 year background in education, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Great Falls, and am now licensed in Montana as a Clinical Professional Counselor.  I work with clients of all ages, including children and their parents. Tom and I develop and present seminars to educators and mental health professionals throughout the western United States, teaching them how to recognize and manage children with mental health conditions in ways that improve educational and behavioral outcomes.

We love what we do. All of it. One of our goals is to share our success strategies, both in business and in therapy. We would like to see others develop and enjoy a business as much as we do ours. And we want to disseminate as much information as we can about mental health, in as many ways as we can devise, so the stigma and misunderstandings stop getting in the way of people getting help.
